This training will be online and open to anyone who is working with individuals who are maybe using substances or their family members. The training is free to attend but registration is essential.

Understanding Self Harm training
Date: 29th January 2026 from
Time: Online 9.30am – 1.00pm (with a 30 minute break at 11.00am), it’s via zoom.
It aims to:
• Raise awareness and increase understanding of self – harm
• Increase understanding and the assessment of risk
• Understand why people find it hard to change
• Explore alternative copying strategies
• Develop skills and sustain a positive working relationship with people who self –harm
Target Audience: Anyone living with or working in a caring role within the SEHSCT area.
Please note this course is not suitable for those who are currently self-harming.

CrISP - The programme focuses on themes following a diagnosis of dementia including understanding dementia, providing care and support, legal and financial guidance and coping day to day, as well as support that is available for both you and the person that you care for.

Talking Really Helps’ suicide prevention
We are asking for your support to amplify the Public Health Agency ‘Talking Really Helps’ suicide prevention mass media campaign, which will run from November 2025 to March 2026.
You can support the campaign, and raise awareness of Lifeline by using and sharing the digital resources across your organisation’s social media platforms, AND by ordering FREE resource pack(s) containing campaign promotional items for distribution to your service users.
